Not sure what to get the geek in your life for the holidays? Looking for things to add to your own geeky list for Santa? Fear not, for The Discriminating Fangirl has got you covered! Every day in December up to Christmas Eve, we’ll be posting a new geeky gift idea!
The Big Bang Theory
I’m not a physicist. I don’t even play one on TV. But I am a geek, and apparently a love of science fiction and comic books along with an interest in science is enough to make me absolutely adore The Big Bang Theory. Not only is it rife with nerdy jokes, it’s also smartly written and features some fantastic characters. Bazinga. In the middle of the fourth season now, seasons one, two, and three are available on DVD.

TDF Pamela
The Discriminating Fangirl, who is more likely to answer to Pamela if you shout it at her, is the proud owner of an MA in English, focusing on children's/young adult literature and popular culture. Because of her ample free time thanks to being gainfully unemployed, she reads voraciously. She also loves geeky movies and tv shows, reads comic books as often as she can buy them, and when she's procrastinating, she enjoys playing video games. She can be contacted at t.d.fangirl @ gmail.com and followed on Twitter at the link below.
