Reading: Shadowshaper – Daniel José Older

Listening to: Lots and lots of Prince.

Watching: The Night Manager and I’m about to start Prime Suspect s1. I kept meaning to watch it, but would forget to grab it from work. Luckily it was available when I was there last night.

Working on: Getting more members to join the new Cincinnati chapter of Geek Girl Brunch. If you live in the area, consider signing up. We’d love to have you! And if you aren’t, be sure to check for a chapter near you or, like I did, see if there are any who need officers and start one. I’ve been to one of their brunches in Portland and it was a lot of fun. Looking forward to our first event once we get enough people.

Reading: Still reading The Empty Hourglass by Cornelia Grey and technically still reading A Promise of Fire, but I think it’s time to call it quits on that book. I haven’t picked it up in about 2 weeks now.

Listening to: Le Roi Soleil soundtrack because I’m back in my French musicals mood.

Watching: BBC’s The Musketeers, because the new season finally started up again and I can’t resist the hotties who play Athos, Porthos, Aramis, and D’artagnan.

Working on: Exercising at home and getting back into doing art. I’m going to teach myself how to digital paint in Photoshop, because I want to a try to do something with my art skills that can make me some side cash.

Reading: The City of Mirrors by Justin Cronin, the third book in The Passage trilogy. I loved the first book, liked the second with reservations, and this one… isn’t really sucking me in like I’d hoped it would. Le sigh.

Listening to: The sound of my stomach growling. Second trimester apparently means I want to eat all the things.

Watching: Murdoch Mysteries on Netflix, much to the chagrin of my Canadian friend. I love it, though! It’s a fun period mystery that’s charming as hell.

Working on: When I’m not desperately cross stitching Mother’s Day gifts, I’m working on my new Dragon Age: Inquisition playthrough. You’re gonna get romanced, Cullen. You’re gonna get romanced hard.

Keep an eye out for next week’s post. Let us know what you’re up to this week in the comments below.
