Geekcrafting: Hawkeye Cross Stitch

March 6, 2015 Geek Girl Life, Geekcrafting 0

Welcome to Geekcrafting, our new weekly feature! Every Friday, we’ll feature a new geeky crafting project made mostly by other wonderfully crafty geeks out there and occasionally by us. If you have a geekcraft you’d like us to feature, hit the Contact link up there and send us a message with the subject “Geekcrafting.”

In honor of the launch of All New Hawkeye (and in mourning of the upcoming end of Matt Fraction and David Aja’s run on Hawkeye), our inaugural Geekcrafting post features Hawkeye cross stitch patterns!

First up is the cross stitch version of one of my favorite comic book panels ever.

Hawkeye #3

todayiwrotenothing over at Tumblr created the cross stitch pattern above based on the iconic Hawkblock panel from Hawkeye #3, aka the panel that made me laugh so hard I cried. You can download the pattern at her blog.

And next we have two adorable patterns from one of my other favorite issues of Hawkeye, the Pizza Dog issue.

tonystarkulous created these two badge patterns based on Pizza Dog’s little mental versions of Clint and Kate from Hawkeye #11. You can grab the full sized patterns and find floss color information at their blog.

If you make any of these projects, let us know and be sure to let the creator know, too! I know we’d love to see what you do with them, and the creators would love it even more. :)
