Writing by Quinn Dombrowski at Flickr
Sorry for the lack of posts lately! It’s the holidays, and I’ve been traveling, and I also managed to get sick. I’m the champion of making my own holiday season miserable! But my husband passed this link along to me this morning, so I thought I’d share for our writerly readers out there.
Tinderbox, a nifty personal content assistant that helps you organize your notes, has put together WinterFest 2013, a list of awesome discounted software to help you write your best. WinterFest includes:
- Tinderbox: Visualize and organize your notes, plans and ideas.
- Scrivener: Your complete writing studio
- Scapple: Rough out your ideas, fast.
- DEVONthink Pro Office: Your paperless Mac office.
- Nisus Writer Pro: Word processing that’s fast, clean, and powerful.
I use Scrivener to organize notes and outlines for my original fiction, and I freaking love it. If you like using whiteboards to organize your ideas, Scapple and Tinderbox look like great options. All of the software on this list is 25% off, so order fast if you’re interested! You can buy Tinderbox at the WinterFest 2013 page, and for the rest of the apps, follow these links and use the coupon code WINTERFEST2013 Scrivener • Nisus Writer Pro• Scapple • DEVONthink Pro
Happy writing this holiday season!
