ARE YOU READY, MAKO?!
Pacific Rim, which Amanda and I have been fangirling hard for the last couple of months, comes out on blu-ray and DVD on October 15, but if you prefer your movies digital, you can get that baby right now aw yeah.
You can purchase it on Amazon
Directed by Guillermo del Toro and starring Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Hunnam, and Idris Elba, Pacific Rim features huge eldritch monsters from another dimension and the giant robots humanity created to beat the living crap out of them. And there’s also a really fabulous friendship story between the fantastically nonstandard male hero Raleigh Beckett and the quietly reserved badass Mako Mori. And a nerd with kaiju tattoos. And Idris Elba cancellin’ the apocalypse!
Oh my gosh, guys, just watch this movie.
