We here at The Discriminating Fangirl love books! The vast majority of books we review are either purchased by us or requested from a service like NetGalley. At the moment, we are only reviewing books that we choose to read. Please don’t send us review requests!
Most of the books we read are speculative fiction (science fiction, fantasy, urban fantasy, and so on), romances (male/female and LGBTQ), and comic books/graphic novels. We occasionally branch out, but those are our top three favorite genres/media.
Our reviews are honest above all else. We do not guarantee positive reviews but strive to critically discuss what we personally liked and/or disliked about a book. These are just our opinions, though, and we know that not every reader has the same tastes and preferences. Your mileage may vary from ours.
