Emma Watson wants more men and boys to fight for gender equality. Countries such as Sweden and Sierra Leone have backed the IMPACT 10X10X10 campaign that seeks to organize countries, universities, and companies to support and empower women. In Watson’s own words: “Men often think that feminism is a women’s word … but if you stand for gender equality, you are a feminist.”

This month has been a wealth of MCU Chrises. Making good on his Superbowl bet, Chris Evans visited Seattle Children’s Hospital in his Cap uniform along with Chris Pratt. OH MY GOD ALL THE FEELINGS.

If you’re part of the MCU fandom, you may run into fan theories that Hawkeye is going to be killed off in literally every MCU installment – even if he isn’t in the film at all. I’m not sure what kicked off this line of thinking other than just having Whedon involved in the Avengers movies and kills everything you love. Never fear, Hawkeye death theorists, he will be part of Captain America: Civil War. The announcement came in a report that Jeremy Renner will star alongside Amy Adams in the sci-fi romance, Story of Your Life.

The Star Wars universe is getting its first canon lesbian character. Lords of the Sith will introduce Moff Mors, a member of the Empire who has made some big mistakes in her past. Per Del Ray’s Star Wars series editor, Shelley Shapiro, Mors is the first canon character, but the expanded universe has had a gay couple in its Legacy of the Force novels (not considered canon). From the sounds of it, Mors won’t play a large role, which is a bit disappointing but still a small step towards inclusivity in the Star Wars universe.

Sony wants to do their own, male-driven Ghostbusters reboot. Because guys just get so sidelined and under-represented in the media.
